Vicente Fox discusses new libraries

On May 19, ladies from Sunnyvale dined with former Mexican President, Vicente Fox and his wife during a recent Dallas visit. They discussed common goals of establishing new library facilities.

President Fox’s new Presidential Library to be located in Leon, Mexico and Sunnyvale’s efforts toward building a first class library for Sunnyvale in the future was discussed.

Even though the Fox library will serve 3.5 million people and the Sunnyvale library will serve less than 5,000, both parties left the luncheon with ideas and an appreciation of each other’s goals.

According to Debbie Geis, one of the attendees from Sunnyvale, Marta Fox, the wife of the former President, was very gracious and really enjoyed meeting the group. This was Mrs. Fox’s first visit to the Dallas area.
